Christmas Day at Granddad's House

We were only 8 for dinner, Ken's Dad, his brother Greg and his wife Tara, his sister Lisa and her two daughters Bria (14) and Remy (12), which made our Christmas, since they were the only kids to spoil. Ken's son Shaun went to his Mothers today and his daughter Nikki was working both Christmas eve and Christmas, so we will take her up her things to Ashville next week. But it was a wonderful meal and visit with all of those who were there. Cox holidays are very warm and wonderful....and it's always fun when there are kids to give presents....

Christmas eve pics...

Christmas Eve was at our house, just Ken, his Dad, his son Shaun and I. Ken did all the cooking, his custom for Christmas eve is Shrimp and Steaks on the Grill, ummh yummy..... Then we opened our presents, what a lovely laid back Evening.... with three generations of Cox men... We opened everything in the upstairs bonus room because it's a more comfortable room then the formal living room. It was terrific good time.

Saturday the 16th Christmas Party

This was a party with my golfing partner girlfriends and their husbands. We had a ball, what a fun bunch. It was great to get all our husbands together, it was a very lively group.

TIS THE SEASON......

Wow it's only the 6th and the holiday hub bub has begun. We had 2 Christmas parties yesterday, and more coming up almost everyday from this weekend until the 16th. Life is wonderful, albeit very busy. Our only downside, is that Ken's house is as yet unsold. All prayers are appreciated, so please say a small one for us. Our weather is still beautiful, making golf very enjoyable. I'm still playing 9 hole courses, but am ready to graduate to 18 holes after next week, when I'll take my last lesson. It really is a great way to enjoy the outdoors, and I only seem to remember my great shots, not my bad ones, so I am blessed by extremely selective senior moments. I guess that's one of the many joys of my age! As we drove to the party last night the sunset over the lake was truly magnificent, I keep being amazed by just how much I love it here.
