Well the Engagement was official on 7/21, he gave me the most fantastic ring!

My camera is lousy at close-ups so I can't do my ring justice, but it is gorgeous. It is platinum and rose gold and very intricate all the way around on every side. It has 30 round accent diamonds and 10 baguettes, (but who's counting?), and the center stone is a 1 and a half carat oval, green tsavorite. We were going to put a green diamond in it, but this had a gorgeous color, and the green diamonds are rather dull. It is truly special and unique and I love it and the very special man that goes with it!!!

Well Taz is pregnant, but I'm the one getting married !!!

Ken and I are going to Santorini, Greece for 2 weeks at the end of September and will be married overlooking the Caldera.... and Taz escaped me twice during her heat and appears to possibly be pregnant. If so, she will have pups the 1st of September. So there is a tremendous amount of happiness and excitement going on at our house....

And there is even more news !!!! Ken and I are building a new home together on 1.17 acre of beautiful lakefront property on Lake Keowee. This will be the last home I will ever live in!

Isn't the lot gorgeous, it's nearly level with tons of trees and 265 feet of beachfront and a dock! This gypsy is hanging up her running and moving shoes for good. This just feels so right....

I'm a very lucky, blessed and happy woman. Two great trips coming up, a wedding to a wonderful man, puppies and the joy of custom building a new home together..... Who could ask for anything more? Not me!!!

4th of July in Greenville

It was an gorgeous day to Celebrate America's Birthday. The Greenville symphony played.

Greenville was packed with happy families although it was 94 degrees and muggy. It made the waterfall in the middle of the downtown very popular.

Summer on Lake Keowee

Lake Keowee is a gorgeous, huge, man made lake dug in the 70's. It consists of about 18,000 acres and approximately 300 miles of shoreline. Only a small percentage of the shoreline has been developed, so it is clean and unspoiled. The Cliffs and the Reserve are beautiful subdivisions of incredible lake homes at the North end of the lake where the rich and famous build homes and enjoy all the mountain views from the lake and the golf courses. It is surrounded by waterfalls and lush forest and I feel very blessed to be spending my summer weekends lounging among the lucky chosen. Although I never made it in Adastra, to the Islands, I am loving the aquatic life of this incredible, tranquil setting. God has offered me another paradise. I really do love it here.

I'm sorry not to have as much to report on a regular basis as when I was off cruising to a different place all the time. But life is still amazing and I am still enjoying the world and all the wonder around me. Ken is a terrific guy and we are having lots of fun in his boat and swimming at the lake.

Damon and I have a trip planned for his thirtieth birthday too, a cruise leaving from Barcelona, and going through Spain, Italy and France. We leave August 19th.

Then in September and October, Ken and I are off to Santorini, Greece. So there will still be some cool stories and photos to come in the upcoming months.....

I love you all and Happy Fourth of July!
